September Favorites

September is almost over which means that it's time for yet another favorites roundup. This month saw me returning to Uni for my final year of studies, celebrating my birthday (I already feel that quarter-life crisis slowly creeping up on me) and getting loads of exciting projects to work on. So, with this little life update out of the way, let's move on to beauty stuff.

TonyMoly Lovely Eyebrow Pencil

in Gray Brown

I've been raving about this product countless times on this blog, so I'll keep it short and sweet. If you have cool toned brows, you NEED this eyebrow pencil in your life. It has a super fine nib, the consistency is perfect for mimicking brow hairs and the shade Gray Brown doesn't have any reddish or green undertones like most affordable eyebrow pencils do.

Essie Chinchilly

I've documented my love for Essie polishes earlier this month but I just have to mention the shade Chinchilly which hasn't left my nails for the majority of the month. It's a beautiful moody gray shade with hints of lilac that goes with literally everything.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate

I bought this product back in spring, and while it did moisturize my skin, I just didn't get the hype. Fast forward to this month when I got a nasty allergic reaction which left my skin all bumpy and extremely angry. I reached for MRC, hoping that it will bring my skin back to its normal state and it totally did - two days later my skin was less irritated (albeit still a bit bumpy).

H&M Cashmere Haze Hand Cream

This month H&M launched their beauty line, which, in all honesty, left me a bit underwhelmed. However, as I'm a total sucker for minimalistic packaging, I picked up their hand cream to carry with me during the colder months. The scent of this one is quite strong and powdery yet strangely comforting, and the cream itself keeps the paws moisturized throughout the day.

Maybelline Color Tattoo

On and On Bronze

I've been really into bronze eyeshadows and this offering from Maybelline has been a true lifesaver when there is no time to faff around with makeup. A quick swipe on the lids, some blending action with the fingers and voila - a bronzy eye look is complete!

MAC Syrup

This one is a gorgeous muted pink shade which I've been sporting nearly on a daily basis. Read more about it

Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

I'm probably late to the whole Maybelline mascara party, but holy cow, this stuff is amazing! It gives a lot of volume, holds the curl and stays on for the whole day - I'm truly impressed with this little drugstore gem.

As I've been quite busy for the majority of September, this month's list of non-beauty favorites is a short one:

The True Cost

This is a documentary that explores the impact of fashion on people and the planet. I watched this at the beginning of the month and it has stuck with me ever since. It's not the most uplifting movie out there, however, I highly recommend watching it, as it has definitely helped me to reevaluate my shopping habits and clothing choices.

Love and Lemons

I've tried several recipes from this blog a while ago, but now it seems that this has officially become my go-to source for everything food related. Easy, tasty and healthy - honestly, I'm hooked!

What have you been loving this month?
