The Autumn Makeup Bag

It's time for a seasonal makeup bag update! As per usual, I'm keeping things quite simple and neutral in terms of colour, with brown hues gracing both my eyes and lips. For a more "out there" look, I've added some darker options in a form of a coppery eyeshadow and a berry lip. So here is what's in store for the next few months:

Even though I'm now used to using BB and CC creams on a daily basis, I do feel that I need a bit more coverage when autumn rolls around. Here's where

L'oreal True Match

comes in - it's a demi-matte foundation that offers light to medium coverage. If I want to achieve a more dewy look, I apply it with a good ol'

but for a more matte look I reach for the

Zoeva Silk Finish

brush (which is awesome, by the way!). For undereye circles and blemishes, I use

MAC Pro Longwear

concealer which has firmly established itself as a vital part in my daily routine. HG concealer for sure!

Eyes & Brows:

L'oreal Telescopic Clean Defenition

has recently been my go-to mascara, as it separates, defines and lengthens the lashes without adding too much drama. There are a lot of days when I'll just curl my lashes and apply some mascara, however if I want a bit more definition, I reach for

Maybelline Color Tattoo

On and On Bronze

. This shimmery bronze eyeshadow takes seconds to apply and lasts well for the majority of the day. For the days when I feel like putting more effort into my eye makeup,

Stila Eyes are the Window

palette in

does the trick. It has a mix of both neutral mattes and gorgeous coppery shimmers which happen to be very autumn-appropriate. As for brows,

Tony Moly's Lovely Eyebrow

pencil is still pretty much the best eyebrow product I've ever used.

I'm quite lazy when it comes to contouring, bronzing and highlighting, so for the most days I've been using the

Max Factor Creme Puff

blush in

Lavish Mauve

. This blush and highlighter hybrid adds some much-needed dimension and color to the overall look.

In no way am I limiting myself to two lip product, however these are the ones that I see myself using the most. I've been wearing

MAC Whirl

(surprise, surprise!) non-stop these past couple of days. You all know this one  - the perfect brown-toned nude with a matte finish. Same old, same old. Now, on the other hand, we have

MAC Rebel

which is a deep berry shade. Surprisingly, this one is very wearable, especially when it's applied with a light hand.
