H&M Studio S/S16

When I first started my blogging journey almost a year ago (eek!), I didn't expect this little space to be anything other than a semi-personal diary documenting my love for beauty and, occasionally, other things. So, you can imagine how incredibly surprised and elated I was when an e-mail from H&M dropped into my inbox, along with an invitation to have a peek at their new Studio S/S16 collection.

In a true H&M style, the new collection is brimming with wearable yet eye-catching pieces - think 70s bohemian spirit with a sporty edge. For the new season, the brand has gone with an earthy colour palette, so expect to see loads of khaki, rust and off-white tones adorning the streets this summer. What got me most excited about the whole collection, was, surprisingly, the choice of materials. Deviating from the usual choice of cotton and polyester, H&M showcases a selection of pieces crafted from breathable linen and airy silk, all topped off with a touch of texture. Also, clogs are having a major comeback, so you might want to sweep the dust off from your Swedish Hasbeens (though I'm still sticking to trainers this year...)

The collection will be available in selected H&M stores from February 25th.

What are your must-haves for the upcoming season?
