About two years ago Charlotte Tilbury managed to wow the masses with the launch of her extensive and oh-so-sophisticated beauty range. Apart from the swoon-worthy packaging, the line includes some real gems, which have been making countless rounds in the beauty blogging world, thus peaking my interest and sneaking their way into my wishlist. During my last trip to the UK this past Christmas, I simply couldn't pass the CT counter without a little flutter in my chest, so, naturally, a purchase had to happen. As I'm an utter lipstick fiend, my hand ended up heavily covered in swatches within a matter of minutes, but, thanks to some common sense and well-exercised self-control, I walked out with only one product in hand.
is a deep-toned nude shade with an unexpected pinch of coral, far from the rosy hue implied by the name. It contains light-diffusing particles (not to be confused with shimmers) that provide a subtle plumping effect. Along with the creamy and hydrating formula, it contributes to a slightly fuller pout without the need to crack out a lip liner, which is down to the superb pigmentation. Overall, the formula is comparable to MAC's Satin lipsticks, though the Charlotte Tilbury ones boast a far more impressive wear time, lasting through several cups of coffee and a snack or two. I'm quite fussy with my everyday lip products, but this lipstick, without a doubt, has the most comfortable formula I've ever used. The lipstick comes in a stunning rose gold bullet, which closes with a satisfying click. Stoned Rose is a permanent fixture in Charlotte's K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick range and it is a part of her Golden Goddess look.
There's no denying that this product is more of a splurge rather than a necessity, but if you're in a mood to treat yourself, this is something I'd suggest checking out, as the quality is truly exceptional.
Have you tried anything from Charlotte Tilbury's beauty range? Any future recommendations?
